The 10 Things Every Working Mom Needs to Make Her Life Easier (besides more wine)

Ummmm, why didn’t anyone tell us that managing motherhood AND a full-time career is kinda (very) hard?!

Whether you’re juggling carpooling and that corporate life or having to kiss your babies goodnight as you head off to your night-shift in scrubs (or anything in between), this ain’t easy!!

The exhaustion.

The laundry list of things that need to get done (including laundry).

That layer of fluff that just took up residence on your mid-section without so much as a rent check.

The husband that you keep trying to remember to not forget.

The job that puts food on the table.

The dog.

The grays that decided to pop up without warning.

Did I mention the exhaustion? I forgot… sorry, because I’m too exhausted!

You’re going to hate me a little bit when I say this next part, but stay with me here – I promise I have some value for you.

I’m a stay-at-home-mom. (GASP)! How dare I try and commiserate or act like I have any idea of what you’re going through? Well, I’m not JUST a stay-at-home-mom. I’m a business owner and currently the sole provider for my family. I used to do the whole long-commute-hate-my-boss gig, but I traded in my corner cubicle for a pair of yoga pants and a dream.  LEARN MORE ABOUT MY STORY HERE.

So as much as I might not be on the same exact playing field as you, please picture me holding up my Mockingjay fingers in complete solidarity with you. I certainly feel ya, Mama, and I give you all the credit in the world for tacking onto your hectic life a boss you probably can’t stand, a commute that blows, and a job that might not pluck the harp strings of your heart.

With the strung-out, overworked, and underappreciated Mama in mind, I’ve put together my list of must haves that have kept me from marital warfare and complete lunacy.

Since I appreciate the finer things in life (like a shower at least 3 times a week and moderately lukewarm coffee), instead of just dumping these things into a list on here to soon be forgotten, I’ve beautified my favs in a printable PDF that you can actually put to good use. There are also clickable links so you can know where to find the products that I use and love!
